What is Medically-Assisted Weight Loss?

Medically assisted weight loss is a weight loss program closely monitored by medical professionals (providers). Our Certified Nutritionist helps with customized diet plans and is often done in conjunction with medications that suppress appetite and or reduce cravings. Rewind™ Health & Wellness by Sharicom Health® will ask you to have regular visits with the provider, the certified nutritionist, licensed health and wellness coaches, or licensed personal trainers. Both your provider and the certified nutritionist will also have regular visits with the patients, going over what worked and what didn’t work, and fine-tuning the program to their specific lifestyle. WHO IS A CANDIDATE FOR MEDICALLY ASSISTED WEIGHT LOSS?

Typically, people that are of a BMI of 30 and above are candidates for medically assisted weight loss, but individuals with lower BMI may also benefit from it. Your provider and our certified nutritionist will assess whether or not the program is a good fit for you.
